Private Court Hire<\/b><\/p>\n

Any person can play badminton at Hutt Valley Badminton Hall. <\/span>You can play on a casual basis any time the hall is not being used for Association activities. During peak times, bookings is essential. It is important to note that any private booking may be cancelled if the Association requires the hall or courts. If this happens, BHV will contact you to let you know.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a private user, your lighting cost will be $22 per court per hour during peak hours and $17 per court per hour for off-peak hours. Peak hours are are 4.00pm to 11.30pm Monday to Friday and 7.30am to 11.30pm Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

You will need to bring your own racquets and shuttles. You can book as many courts as you wish as long as you have enough credit on your account and the required number of courts are available. Using courts without lights may result in cancellation of your HelloClub account.<\/p>\n

To enable Private Court Hire, you\u2019ll need to be an active HelloClub member of Badminton Hutt Valley and have purchased a “Casual Player (with Hall Access)” membership. This membership provides access Badminton Hall and enables you to turn on the court lights. NOTE: only one active BHV HelloClub account member is needed to book a court privately.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is a one-off charge of $30.00 for a “Casual Player (with Hall Access)” membership.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once you have signed up then you will have access to the online booking system and you\u2019ll be all set to play. <\/span><\/p>\n

Creating a BHV HelloClub Account<\/b><\/span>
\n<\/b><\/span>To set up a BHV HelloClub account, click the following link <\/span>https:\/\/bookings.bhv.org.nz<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

On the main screen, scroll down to “Activate an Account” and follow onscreen prompts. Follow all instructions and fill in the required information. During the registration process, you will be asked to sign up for a membership type. <\/span><\/p>\n

If you wish to be able to sign up for Badminton Hutt Valley run events and programmes then please select \u201d Casual Player (without Hall Access) membership. This is a free membership, but note that you will not be granted Hall access. <\/span>Applicants for the \u201cCasual Player (without Hall Access)\u201d membership type will be approved immediately to enable you to log into the HelloClub system and enable you to sign up for BHV events and programmes.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you wish to book a court for private use as well as being able to sign up for Badminton Hutt Valley run events and programmes, then please select \u201cCasual Player (with Hall Access)\u201d membership. This will incur a one-off $30 fee. The signing up process will take you to a payment portal as part of the registration process. Applicants with the \u201cCasual Player (with Hall Access)\u201d membership type requires manual Badminton Hutt Valley approval. Upon approval you will be notified via email and access to your HelloClub Account will be enabled. Please allow 48 hours for this approval process to occur.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hall Hire for non-Badminton groups<\/b><\/p>\n

Groups or individuals can hire Badminton Hall at reasonable rates. <\/span><\/p>\n

Courts can be hired individually, as can the upstairs lounge. <\/span><\/p>\n

Other areas are suitable for meetings or training seminars. <\/span><\/p>\n
