Going to be late to your booking?
The HelloClub system prevents all other members from using a court if the court is booked.
It is essentially “locked out” to only the original booking member. This “locked out” feature lasts for the first 10 minutes of a booking.
Upon expiration of the first 10 minutes and the original booking member does not show up then the court is released for “walk-in” usage.
This “walk-in” usage ability is only available via the touch screen kiosk, it is assumed that the original booking member has not shown up. It should however be noted that the original booking remains in place. All members are reminded that any bookings in the system takes priority over “walk-in” usage and must be respected.
In this situation, the original booking member will have to ask the “walk-in” member to turn off their court and allow the original booking member to use the remaining time of their booking. The Booking Calendar is easily accessible via the touch screen and illustrates who the original booking owner is.
Our facility is a well-used venue (especially at peak times) and is sometimes booked back-to-back. We strongly recommend that members be punctual and aim to be court side at least 5 minutes prior to their booking.
Walk-In Usage:
Walk-In usage is not recommended by BHV and has its restrictions.
BHV encourages members to make court bookings in advance.
This can only be done via the touch screen kiosk, and you must have account credit available.
- Enter your Pin Code at the touch screen kiosk. This will log your presence at Badminton Hall.
- Select the court you wish to use and follow on screen instructions.
Please note that any court bookings made, takes precedence and you could be then asked to vacate the court, stop your Walk-In session at the touch screen kiosk and allow the original court booking to start play.
All existing court bookings must be respected.
The system (both online and at Badminton Hall) is intuitive and you shouldn’t have any issues.
Should you find that you do have any issues, then please feel free to get in touch at office@bhv.org.nz
